Proposed English Topic

In the sports world, there have been several lockouts because players and managers cannot come to an agreement in regards to salaries. Between the NFL and NBA there have already been 2 major lockouts this year. Although the NFL managed to come to an agreement with its players before the start of the season, the NBA season has already been cut by several games because the NBA and NBPA cannot come to an agreement over a 2.5% difference in salary (50/50 split as apposed to 52.5/47.5 split). My paper will talk about why I think it is rediculous that something so minor is causing such a major dispute in the sports world and why both sides need to come to an agreement soon because they're losing more money than they are gaining by cutting these games.
